Background color

Post by sinisha » September 19th, 2017, 10:15 am

Hi,

I am trying to change a stock Background color.
In current version 1.9 of Simantics System Dynamics it is only possible to change Font.
Until a new version, is there any trick how to do that manually?

Best regards,
Sinisha.

Tuomas, thanks for the rapid reply.
Since the Simantics System Dynamics is open source and written in Java, is it possible to program that feature by myself?
Source code is available somewhere?
Best regards,
Sinisha.

Hi,

Yep, that's of course possible. A big word of warning though, the procedure of setting up the development environment for Sysdyn and to get it to compile has quite a few steps and is difficult. But if you have spare time and want to try out, first you need to request access to Simantics git repository, as instructed in https://www.simantics.org/download , then set up eclipse development environment ( http://dev.simantics.org/index.php/Quic ... ment_Setup ) , then get Simantics from git ( http://dev.simantics.org/index.php/Migration_To_Git ) and similarly also the Sysdyn source code. (Setting up the development environment from scratch takes usually a few hours for me and I've done it quite a few times.)
