Moved here from another system/backlog, originally reported by Kalle Kondelin.

  • Open SCL console
  • Add external model via manage imports
  • Observe SCL compiler feedback
  • Change file contents
  • Press refresh module button
  • Observe how SCL compiler uses old contents of the file, not current contents

Not even delete module, add module sequence changed this behavior. Only by renaming the file I was able to get the new contents to the SCL compiler. This behavior has been in the SCL console from day one. Not nice for those of use who like to use file system.

Tip: bulletproof method for noticing change in file contents is to compute hash from file contents.
